I haven't registered to vote yet.  What do I need to do?

If you are over 18 years of age, then you can vote.  First, you must register with the Cherokee County Board of Registrars.  They are located in the Cherokee County Administrative Building, 206 Cedar Bluff Road, Suite 106, Centre, AL.  They can be reached by phone at 256-927-5336. They are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM


You must be registered by October 26, 2012 to be able to vote in the November 6, General Election.

I'm registered to vote, but I'm not sure where I need to go to vote.

I won't be able to go vote on Election Day.  What do I do?

If you have a valid reason why you won't be able to vote at your Polling Place on Election Day, then you can get an Absentee Ballot from the Cherokee County Circuit Clerk's Office.  They are located in the Cherokee County Court House and can be reached by calling 256-927-3637.
